Power Trim not working

I have a 92 forester i/o with an omc drive. Well the last time I took the boat out the only time the power trim would work was when I was in forward. neutral and reverse gave me nothing. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks

I know it may sound stupid, but did you check the reservoir to make sure that it is full of fluid? Low fluid will cause something like this. If it is low, then find the leak before filling it. It doesn't just go away on its own. If it is gone or low, you have a leak.
