This horse is a MONSTER.
He BREEZED yesterday 57 4/5 (any thing less than a 59 is great) this horse is FULL OF RUN.
I see the horse romping,it's a short field,& should have no problems,but it's still horse racing.

OH YA ,I herd though the grape-vine,that was WILL SMITH not Robert Horry in the play-offs (Will Smith payed a lot of $$$$ to the "LAKERS" checking out a new part in a movie he's doing) called "DA BIG FIX

Dude, is anyone going to even bet on this race?? 6 horse field?? WTF??? You could seriously hit a trifecta and win like $10! Funny Cide is a 1/1 right now, Empire is a 2/1, this is a joke.

Funny Cide should put a good romp on the thin field, I think the 1.5 mile track plays even better to his power, Jose has that horse in a groove and even Empire Maker can't hang with him for 1.5 miles. He sure won't be able to make up much distance if he gets behind, hence the 1/1 current odds I guess. I would like to see the big 3crown, but if he wins, all the talk won't be about the triple crown, it will be about 'DNA cloning' and all that crap, all of a sudden everyone will be a Thoroughbred activist. Bunch of damn hippies.

(..and don't plug da lakers into a NTRA post, they are old news Cool

oh nothing much, there is a little horsey race this Saturday up in NY, must not be a big deal though b/c only 6 horses are on the field, I have friends with more than 6 horses!

That is a pretty weak tri huh! Obviously no need to even box it, instead take Scrimshaw on a couple other $1-3 tri's and see what happens. There are always the early races though, all it takes is hitting one pick 4 or a box tri, a good friend of mine won $980 on an early day Preakness race on a $1 box trifecta.

This years Belmont Stakes is just for entertainment value. The Derby is the one to bet big on!!!

the only way to make $$$$ is to box every one except ,Funny Cide
Empire Maker and hope for the best,but this race is for history,I'll look for value else where.

Well dangit, 26 years and counting! Empire is a hoss though, and that was a sweet race.

Its funny about Scrimshaw, he was about 2 lengths back through well past the 2nd turn, and ended up at 30 lengths! The trainer said he would have to stay hot on Funny Cide and Empire's tail the entire race if he was to even have a chance, but he used up all his juice, they were just waaay too powerful. Ten Most Wanted burning it up on the final stretch was awesome to see, wonder why Pat Day waited so long to get that stride going because he made up all that ground so quick?!?!

I think the $2 Tri paid $68. How funny.

Ya I wanted Funny Cide to Do it ,But the triple crown is the hardest feat in sports ,and the way horse racing is today ,I don't any horse will ever do it.
Most horse race every 21 -24 day at the most usely mile and 1/8 at most ,sometimes a mile 1/4 ,But the triple crown is just for 3 year olds ,and thay run 3 races in 5 weeks.
1. mile 1/4
14 days later mile 3/16s
and then 21 days later mile 1/2 the way horse cost $1,000,000's & $1,000,000's it's just way to hard.

Yup you got it, I didn't make it to any tracks to bet but I would have gone for a big $$ place on Empire, like $200, its easy to say that now but that was a very easy 'safe bet'.

I would definitely call the races more of a business, its just based on franchises like every sports team out there. Great entertainment value, it works for me!
