Just finished my new system install. 4-JBL tower speakers in housings I built using aluminum pipe-then powder coated w/ boss mounts. Pretty light-Weigh about 4-5 pounds each. 2-12in Rockford Fosgate HE subs in custom built box. 480 watt running my tower, 1400 watt running my subs. Sounds great inside the boat and when riding. Loud and Clear!!

| Beautiful work! How did you make them? What kind of pipe did you use? Where did you get the pipe? What did you use to cover the end opposite the speaker? And how much $ do you have in those things? Thanks, Boomer

I bought the pipe for about 75 bucks and had end caps weilded on both ends. I just cut out the right size hole in 1 end and mounted my speakers in there. Then had them powder coated and added the boss mounts. The pipe was 6 7/8 outside diameter which works well with most 6 1/2 in speakers. The amp on my subs says it's 1400 watts max power, but when tested it was only putting out about 1000 max and 200-250 continuous power so it worker out good to use with the HE's. I bought cheaper amps so that I wouldn't lose much if they got wet. Not likely, but possible.
4 JBL Marine 180 watt max tower speakers 49.00 pair off the internet
tubing 75.00
machine work 100.00
powder coating 40.00
boss mounts 200.00
480 watt pioneer amp for tower speakers 129.00
2 HE 12in subs 150.00
1400 watt Boss amp 150.00
942.00 Total for a system that sounds 100 times clearer and louder than the factory options, looks better (in my opinion), and about 300.00 cheaper ( 1200.00 option from the factory included 2 clarion tower speakers and 1-10in sub with amps)

I've got that same tower on my 20V. Do you have any pics of how the wiring comes out of the tower at the bottom and goes into/through the deck? I'm working on designing a system right now. Your setup looks sweet. I'm diggin the Tigé logos on your tower speaks!

| I just called up a local dealer for the boss mounts. I found the closest using the Boss Web site.
