Can someone tell me how you do this once your behind the boat? I would be coming in heelside with left foot forward. Just how do you manage to grab the cheater handle, without the big handle dropping behind the back?

Chad H, cut out on the right side of the boat, tapper off a little bit (don't cut in but stop cutting out) which will give you some slack in the line.

with your left hand on the big handle drop it to your hip while simultaneously reaching your right hand behind your back to grab the big handle, once grabbed release left hand and use it to grab and pull yourself forward on the "cheater" handle.

Hope that helps, but seeing a vid on an amateur do it would help out alot. I know alot of pros like tino and some other smaller guys pull it over their head in competition.

jhilly8982,
I got it now. I was practicing in my room with it hooked on a door, and i was going for the cheater handle before the big handle. I'll try it out friday.

jhilly8982, hm thats different than I do it. I usually grab the wrap handle with my left hand with my right on the big handle (Im left foot forward) then I throw the big handle forward and while its swinging back I move my right hand behind my back and grab the big handle there when it swings back.

I do it the same way as LFADAM, it's pretty simple.

Went out yesterday and today and the way LFA adam mentioned is the way it worked out for me. Never tried any wrapped tricks because i was sucking my first time out and getting my muscles worked out again. But i'll try it in a few weeks for sure.
