I am wondering with the price of fuel this summer if we may see a rise in fuel theft. Due to the fact that I leave my boat near the lake all week when I am at work I am thinking about replacing my standard fuel cap on my Centurion for a locking one. Anyone done this? Any other ideas?
Sweet, thanks for the idea man. Where do you store your boat? Now I don't have to pay for gas'n up the boat this year!
I've thought about adding a lock to my boat as well, however I'd rather them unscrew the cap and steal my gas vs. drilling a hole in my gas tank to drain it. I've heard a couple stories now where people are coming out to their cars and finding gas under their car. People are literally drilling holes in peoples gas tanks to take their gas. Better hope that drill bit doesn't spark or get too hot.
My 98 Sunsetter has a cap that requires a special "key" to open it. They stopped doing that shortly after 98 and i could never understand why. It would be quite hard to steal gas from my boat _________________ http://www.integrity-wake.com
