So I just got in my 07 Shane OT's and was wondering if there is much of a method to setting them up as far as angle, distance apart, etc. They have that plate on the bottom to adjust the angle and I am not quite sure how I can determine the best configuration for me. Is it pretty much just trial and error; put the plate on how I think i'll want it, put the bindings on the board, and if I don't like it unscrew it and start over?

Congrats on the new bindings. Nice choice.

One method that I've used is to stand flat on the floor. Jump straight up in the air. Then use the position of your feet when you land as a guide for the width and angle of your bindings. Obviously there is some trial and error here.

Also, I always make sure my bindings are set up the same for both feet so that my foot position is the same whether I'm riding regular or switch.

Hope this helps. Cool

Aight so, I went out today and With the way it was set up, I think i might have my front foot out a little too far. I set them both an even amount apart, with one hole to the outside of each plate. Is it a bad idea to make it uneven because when i ride switch it will mess it up? I'm guessing i either need to just adapt to how it is right now or move them both in one hole. Also, I set them up for a centered ride, but I think i might need to move them so I get more of a heel heavy ride. Is that normal for people to ride like that? Or is it kinda a bad idea and i should just try and get used to it centered?
