Looking into getting a new camera and would like to have really high quality images and a camera that can take really good action shots with some decent zoom.

I don't really have a price range $1,000 is probly the most I want to spend.

This will be my first digital camera. Any help?

This will push you over the $1000 range if looking for something new.
You can search this forum and you will see a lot of feedback on many different DSLRs that have been recommended.
