I punched her new in 1989. She just turned 600 hours . In 89 there were no wakeboard boats. The Sunsport was never a great ski boat the wake was too large. Now with the wakeboard craze she is better .
Last year I started a update project that includes a New Dimensions
custom tower, Kenwood receiver with remote, Kicker gunwale speakers and Fusion 3 way tower speakers powered by a diamond 400 watt
2 way amp. I rebuilt the trailer all new suspension, bunks carpet and all led lights. This year I will add a tower bimini.

That is a good looking boat. I have and 86 Supra Saltare. I owe Haugy and Wb.com a write up on my custom ballast system in mine 2000lbs all automatic all hidden. If you want to put in automatic ballast hopefully it will help you out also. I love these old boats they are built like tanks. IMO the only thing I would do to that boat is to remove the rainbow stripe from the bottom it really cleans up the boat. What engine do you have? _________________ There'll be two dates on your tombstone/ And all your friends will read 'em/ But all that's gonna matter is that little dash between 'em... |

It has a Pleasurecraft Marine Ford 351 w 240 hp Holley 4bb.
I don't have any plans for a ballast system for this boat we just
started wakeboarding at the end of last year after tower installation.
We are just beginners big wakes aren't needed yet.
I don't want to remove the strips I like it in factory condition
I don't know what a IMO is? |

Suprahunter, IMO=In My Opinion.
Great looking boat! You have the exact color scheme as my first Supra growing up. I have since moved on to bright red. I too think you should leave the original decals on. They match your color well, and bring it to life. Mine is fire red, and the decals were faded, so they got removed. |

I just picked up an 87 SunSport. Test drove, but haven't really tried out the wake yet. I have pics in my gallery and a thread at WW. Stay in touch! _________________ 1987 Supra SunSport |
