cable raley help

i am able to get air... but sometimes my rear foot pops out of the binding... this happens 50% of the time... is there something wrong with the way i execute when i lift off the water? the foot i used to get the bite of the fins pops out... is the problem the bindings? i am currently using 06 3ds bindings... before when i had 03 byerlys.. it also pops out... but when i was using 04 temets with the option 2 strap.. as far as i can remember it doesnt pop out.. but i sold em already... any insights or tips?

go get boots that lock u in more if that solves it. I don't think thats your problem though. do u have any videos? That would help out with giving advice. there was a kid on a kiteboard at owc last weekend doing s-bends and blind judges with jesus sandles for boots and never popped out. Props to him... i love my ankles too much haha

I never can commit to do a airair raley yet i do air fronts which everybody says the cut is the same. I can do air off 180's haha but no raleys here

well.. i just saw a nice well detailed raley instructional video on youtube... video showed one extra motion in executing the trick... will give it another go

if it still pops out i'd know theres something wrong with my execution... you are right
there are people out there busting huge tricks with way less gear but nevertheless i will go on and get new bindings... i love my ankles too! haha

wakeywakey, post that link to the youtube video. I got my backroll down on the cable last year but haven't tried the raley yet.

Wakebrad and Clark just try them. I also got the backroll down last season,and started to do raleys past weekend!Got one second try,then nothing for quite some time,now im getting them more regular!
Clark any advice on a frontflip?
