So I am so lost on where to go to school this coming year. I know it is a little bit late to be so unsure but I was wondering where to look? Like where are some sweet places to wakeboard that may have a college around. Yeah thats my priority wakeboard first then school but hey what can I say. I just thought maybe looking where I could enjoy myself might bring up some new ideas of schools to look at. Thanks

sac state is pretty cool...we ride mwf from 9-2, show up whenever u can and grab a set or two...we are being towed by an 08 SANTE....and we party pretty good too

BSBell, UF isn't a good wakeboard school to go to, i've talked to some riders on their team, when they want to ride they usually end up driving an hour to orlando

florida southern i heard has a good program for wakeboarding though

University of Texas has a good scene all around. Plenty of cool and good riders in the Austin area.

They have a large lake (sardis) about 10 minutes away

Chico State! Lake oroville is very close, shasta is a couple hours north, and a dozen lakes south towards the foothills. Great Cal State school, good parties, and the wakeboard team is pretty good.

UCF has one of the best wakeboard teams in the country
As Does UF

I go to USF and we have a great wakeboard club, are only 45min from OWC, and Tampa is >>> Orlando as far as off the water fun goes.

UG has a pretty cool wakeboard club as well.

But dont decide on a school bassed on wakeboarding...that's dumb. Make wakeboarding come to you where ever you go. It's a sport everyone wants to get into once they know what it is.

Florida Gulf Coast University FGCU in Ft. Myers has a wakeboard club with an X-1 that you take free sets on...there is also a cable opening in less than 3 weeks there

Oklahoma State is where its at with a lake owned by the university only 10 mins away.

We have our own Malibu VlX that is completely paid for.

We are sponsored by Malibu, Kicker, Mercruiser, Red Bull, and local shops.

Dues are only $65 a semester. We have 9 drivers that can take out the boat whenever they want.

We have a pretty badass setup and the school takes very good care of us.

i just graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University. He is right, they have a wakeboard club, and my personal friend Nick Dimasi is the man opening that cable park. I ride there now and it is great. It will open within a month. Anyways, if youre looking for hardcore wakeboarding, that is not the place to go. If you want to go to college and wakeboard for fun, then it is.
