Told you fool I would let you know if i went riding on Sunday and well we did. it was 37 degrees and cloudy all day. I would like to Thank Tim Gilbert from "Gilbert Lake Marine" for letting us use you lake. Mike H from "Gilbert Lake Marine" for calling us this morning so we could ride and Ronn S. from Sidewayz for letting us use your SAN TE.

Lynsay,
I don't know about "complaining", it's commenting. I'm saying it's cold because I don't care how cold it is where you or other people are, I'm not comparing myself to others, I never do, it's stupid. And if you want to make it a comparison, how about I find somebody from alaska or something and have them come bitch to you about how warm you have it? How would you like that? Or wait, here's a new concept for you. Acclimation. It means people adapt to their environment, and get used to the kind of weather their in. Meaning, 50 degrees is cold to somebody that's lived in florida their whole life. Imagine that, what a concept! I mean, how unbeleivable that people adapt to their environment. Oh yeah, I can bitch about how cold it is all I want, because I live here by choice, not default. You have the choice of where you live, so by bitching about it you just look stupid. I got an idea, how about I pick somewhere to live and then bitch about my choice. Smart, real smart. One last thing, I bet when the water is 60 or lower and the same with the air most of ya'll don't even ride, so it's not too smart saying something about somewhere you don't live. Yeah, I said it, and I don't care, because I don't care and I don't need the approval of people on this board which mostly consists of people who talk about worthless topics and ask for instructions on wakejumps and 180's. Flame away because I don't care. |

Whoaaa, calm down. First, I'm sure most of us wakeboarders up north want to move somewhere warmer, but can't because of reasons like $$ or jobs, so in a way we DO live here by default. Second, I have and do frequently ride in colder weather than 60º. In October. In a short wetsuit. Third, we're just venting are frustrations. You don't have to get all bitchy at us because of it. |

| Yeah, and your venting your frustrations out on people like me, for no legit reason, and I'm calling you on it. So you might have some sort of situation, money jobs, whatever, but who got themselves into that? Yeah, that's what I thought so why don't you complain some more about something that you did yourselfs and don't vent your frustrations on people who choose to live somewhere that you might want. Last off, I'd like to say I am from up north and choose to live here and have ridden in air and water tempature combos that the majority of you probably have not. If you have ridden in really cold weather, I'm not talking about you, I'm talking about the majority of you who haven't. The kind of people who winterize their boat a month or month and a half before they really have to. If your under 18, and can't move somewhere else, then I understand, otherwise your as I described above and earlier. |

I am under 18 (only in grade 11), but sorry, I didn't realize how hostile some of the posts were. Usually venting for me would be like "Dammit I wish it was spring, I hate this cold weather" and not really as harsh as some of the others were, although you could get back at them by laughing at their cold weather |

| What's up Dees...Had fun on Sunday. Hopefully next week it'll be 40 degrees. I like starting this time of year. It kinda "climatizes" you, so when its 65-70 outside you feel like its summer. Anyways, see next week...same bat-time...same bat lake. |

I rode today, 2 sets boarding, one on the skate. It was really nice, about 75 air, 67 water, South Florida.
re: Derrick-Lyndsay: First, i am making a big mistake by commenting.
Second, I do agree with Derrick that it is a personal choice where you live. I recently made a "life decision" and moved from NY to S. Fl. Not for nothin', but just about anyone would be hard pressed to say they gave up more then i did to move to another state with warmer weather.
Lastly, written words do not show the emotion, tone, and inflection of speech so it is very easy to take the written word the wrong way. Please kiss (or submit) and make up. You are both boarders. _________________ Check out https://www.facebook.com/darcizzleoffshore |

Hopefully we'll still be riding here this weekend... it's supposed to be getting down in the 20s and 30s at night (which is soooo not right for south florida!!!) but that's what being hardcore is all about!
Derrick.... you have a point but think about it, if you chose to live somewhere whatever reasons, there are always downsides.. and if cold happens to be one of them.. then bitch about the cold! _________________ SlidingGlass.com
