So I'll try not to sound like a total noob, so here goes:
I am new to wakeboarding, but have limited experience. More detailed answer, I own a boat but didn't have a car to pull it so I had to swap w/ my mom who lives about 300 miles away and then hit the water. So for the past 4 years I've only been out about 4 or 5 times. I've wakeboarded every time and can get up and am learning to carve and get very small jumps down.
Well I finally own a Jeep and plan on getting wet many times this summer. I want a board that is well suited for a beginner and will fit a variaty of people. I am 6'2" 185 lbs and have friends who will be using this who are as short as 5'10" 165 lbs and up to 6'3" 220 lbs. I think a board around 140 cm will be good for me and will fit the rest decently enough.
I just found this: http://boardersmall.com/xcart/product.php?productid=16803&cat=599&page=1
which looks like a good deal to me. I don't have bindings so I would need those as well.
Any thoughts? I also have a similar post up in the classifieds if anybody is selling a board. I'm pretty poor since I just bought a house in STL and a car as well, so the less $$$ the better. |
