cbkaboom, i'm sure it would work but when entering the water you will NOT want to go sideways. that will work your body so hard. if this is going to be done, do it right and enter the water right.

cbkaboom, Are you talking Batwing-style? if so, just do it on a wakeboard. The crashes aren't nearly as bad a HS raleys, if you're not going to be able to get the board back under you, just dive in.

OuachitaWaker, You don't do batwings at all like a HS raley. You don't need to edge nearly as fast, but you still have to pump up your edge right at the base of the wake to get enough pop and push your board out behind you. It's honestly all about having the proper body position though. You want your front shoulder to be almost directly over the handle, and keep it in very tight to your lead hip. When you pop off the wake, drop your lead shoulder and let the wake push your board behind you. It's a strange trick to feel out at first, but once you get the body position down, it's very easy to make consistent.

OuachitaWaker, if they are turning into toeside backrolls, you don't have enough weight on your front foot. You need to come in and basically push your front shoulder towards the boat, not the horizon

I was trying those yesterday...WEIRD feeling..I would just drift out and rotate up...I figure its improper position leaving the wake..or weight distribution...

Slope, there are two ways people do batwings but only one works for me...and that is, the hardest part of your edge needs to be at the top of the wake, really digging your nose into the wake, that might help you stay over your board, give it a shot
