Video and music was very good, the riding shots are excellent...change the fonts and possibly colors of the text parts: the introduction of each rider, and during the film introducing each rider. The white helvetica/verdana fonts take away from the rest of the great presentation.
7 out of 10

| Nothing personal, but I've just never heard someone criticize the text on a movie. |

I gave them a professional opinion as someone with some filmmaking experience. It's the little details in doing videos that are what separates the good, to better to best _________________ One ring to rule them all, one ring to find them. | Good video. Good riding. I enjoyed it. With my filmmaking expereience, the titles were fine. If this was a pro video i wouldn't care. sometimes the simplistic form works better. |

OMG d00d ur titling sucks!
Seriously, if you would like a positive comment on your video - it's different than most videos posted on here because you told a story with it, which is cool! |

Lmao I liked when he got real close to the cows and they had to run to get out of they way. That was different I've never seen it before.
And btw I thought the video overall was pretty good. |

ctgretzky99 - a big THANK YOU for the specific comment on titling. I appreciate the props from many, but not too many take the time to give specific comments. I'll go back and explore the titling some more...
My theory (as someone mentioned) is simplistic. A clean cut placed at the right time is 10x's more powerful than a fancy transistion... right timing or not. I typically stick to the same principal on titling - keep it simple/non-fancy. As for the 7 out of 10 - am I assuming correctly that it would need to be better riding to bring it up closer to '10'?
I got a lil' lazy towards the end (the last 1/4 of the last section) as I was getting ready for a trip and trying to get it done. I'll revisit that last part too and clean it up a bit at well...

FroZ | Each person has their own style, and since film making is in essence "art", if that is the approach you like and what looks good to you, stay with it. There is no right or wrong, just like any art.
The 7 out of 10 was pretty arbitrary. If the best wakeboarding video I have ever seen is a 10, a 7 is pretty damn good, I was kinda also comparing you to any professional vid I have ever seen, so you ARE among anything available I have ever seen.
The riding looked good to me. I think, as you so pointed out, it was the last section part that fizzled out.
Well done overall, in my opinion you are in the top 30% of available vids Ive seen on the net. _________________ One ring to rule them all, one ring to find them. One ring to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them. |
