That's a pretty big swing. Your feet aren't necessarily going to feel anything different, it's how it responds to your body movement. A smaller board is going to be more responsive and have less swing weight. A big board is going to be more stable.
Unless you are over 6 ft, I think the 137 is probably the better fit. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

| With the smaller board won't you also be "in the water"? Where as the larger board would be more "on top of the water"? That's what I've been told when looking at the different sizes. |

Yes, the larger board will ride on top of the water more and feel faster than a smaller board, which will sink in the water a bit compared to the larger board. Some people just try to counteract this by riding a little faster on a smaller board. _________________

I like bigger boards myself. The softer landings make it worth the swing weight. To be honest, chances are you're not spinning 720's, and if your even doing 5's the extra swing weight won't make much difference at all. Swing weight is often mistaken for release. lots of boards track all the way up the wake, and don't release as quickly, and this is mistaken for lots of swing weight. The witness is one board that releases super easily, so it feels very light off the wake. _________________

I did a demo of the 140 Witness and bought the 136. I don't really notice much of a difference except it seems a bit easier to manipulate the shorter board. |

The swing weight is not just about big spins, it's about over-all control of your board - in the water and in the air. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

My son was in on the testing of the tribute. He absolutley adored it and wanted that to be his board. He went up a size and it all changed for him. So for those that say it's not true, it is size matters!! _________________ For God so loved the world, He gave His only Begotten Son, so that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life!
