Hey, I'm about to buy new board. I'm pretty set on a Hyperlite State 145, and I think that is a good board for my experience level, i have been a few times and can get up easily. I am 6'0" and weigh about 200 pounds (all muscle Cool ). I have a choice between Hyperlite Remix bindings and Hyperlite fountain bindings though and i don't know which to buy. The remix bindings are more expensive but look better with the board. Let me know your thoughts on the bindings. Thanks.

you should just go with a LF and skip the step of selling the Hyperlite after you see the mistake you have made..

I was checking up on some other boards and i came across the Obrien Player. I was think the 143 would be good. It could hold me and it isn't too big too control. What do you guys think. Man i wish there was a place to demo around here, but there are no wake shops for miles even though i live a minute from Lake Ontario!!!!

Check the LF Trip combo with index bindings. Great board, smooth performance all around, and a shape that won't hold you back.

I live in upstate New York right on the south coast of Lake Ontario. Thanks for the comments on the LF boards. What size do you think would be best? Also, on buywake.com I found the Trip with Alpha bindings and Domain Bindings. Thoughts?

The state is a really great board, and at a super price this year.
As for the boots, I'd spend the extra and get the remix. The foundation aren't bad for the money, but their's nothing realy great about them either.

I am majorly torn between the LF Trip and the State. The Trip is more expensive but it looks like a nicer board.

But Keith Lyman, Brian Reeder, and a whole host of others shred like hell on the trip

whynot, no, it's a great board, but i think the bindings that come with the lf combo make it worth the extra money. Hyperlite makes great boards, but they seem to be a little lacking the binding dept.
