I've been wanting to buy a boat for quite some time. Now I think I'm finacially able to buy one. I was looking at spending 30K or less. I'm wanting something no more than 3 years old. I live in Dallas, TX. Any good suggestions, also how long can you finance boats these days, anyone who has this type of boat how much is ins.? I've looked at malibu, mastercraft, tige, and nautiques. I want something in good clean shape, Also i want it to be at least 21' and possibly more. I was leaning towards and X10, or X30. I got a 03' Dodge HD with a Diesel so towing it wont be a problem I just want to know I got a good deal and not go back and wish I would have gotten something else...
Thanks in advance.
Nick

I think at 25G's and below is 12 years and above is 15 years. If you look hard enough you can get 6.9% maybe better.

Is the Super Sport the same as a SAN? The top link from Wakeboarder5 makes me think this. I'm passively considering what "outboard boy" will move to as a next boat. I know it will be a V-drive and very unlikely over $30K.
I'm also thinking about the Wakesetter VXL, Centurion V-Drive and others. I'd prefer a 23' since my Family is 5 people and with kids friends 8-10 people is a normal crew. Is there any others out there we need to put at the top of the list?

Thanks for the replies, I also looked at ski Centurion's on the internet this weekend, are these boats good for their purpose i'd probably go with a typhoon, for the 23' length. Anyone had good or bad experience with them? I guess i'll be spending more than 25K so i can finance longer (being in debt is such a wonderful thing)

IMO, Malibu's are a great boat and usually cheaper then the MC, don't count them out. I have a MC.

You can get a brand new 2003 Malibu Response (around 21 ft.) and deck it out with tower, ballast, stereo, perfect pass, custom cover, heater, shower and anything else you desire for around 30K.
Also, look at older MC prostar 210's. You can get them cheap and put whatever you want in them.
Best bang for the buck, Moomba!

| Looking at the Malibu wakesetters it looks like the seat setup in has a driver seat and a pass seat facin rearwards, and then no side couch stylew seats like alot of the other boats? is this correct? if so why? that is a nice setup and it really limits the amount of people you can carry without it. I really like the malibu's so i might try to find a dealership around here that will get me hooked up on one of those. Are any of you from the Dallas/Plano area that has a boat I might be able to look at?

MonsterTower, Super Sports are the same hulls as the Super Airs. The ad above is a Super Sport and not a Super Air
wouldya, you can find a 2000 Xstar or Super Air for right at 30k. The deals are out their you just have to look.

There is also another option for you, be sure to check out the ski supremes, they are priced lower than a MC, Malibu, Nautique,.... And are the same quality and offer awesome wakes. Be sure to check out my website. www.rvmarine.ca They also offer a 23' V-Drive this year.

My dealer had a colseout on 2002 Centurion's. I got my 02 v-drive with no hours on it for under 30k. Came with 3 ballast tanks, Tower, Racks, Kenwood CD and Changer, 600w amp. and sub.

| my local moomba dealer quoted me 31k for a vlx loaded and 37 for a mobious V. Could probably find one just a bit cheaper if you found an 02.

wouldya, 54K, that might be Canadian dollars?? Wakesetters usually run around 40-50K. I don't know what you were looking at for 30K.
