Hey guys, I know I am newbie here but I am trying to get an idea of what kind of response there would be to a new cable park.

I have some inside info on a company that is seriously considering installing a cable park in the greater Pittsburgh area. It would be less than 1.5hrs drive time in an area with attractions that most people are already familiar with.

The lake size would be just over 5 acres. with full amenties, pro shop, eatery, locker rooms, docks, beach, etc. aswell as rails, sliders, kickers, and fun boxes.

The big question... This is obviously a big investment. Do you think the demand is there for a cable park? in addition to other summer activities, i.e. paintball, mountain biking, hiking, possibly a rock wall.

So, any comments suggestions, or questions? I will answer what I can with out revealing confidential information. I will not give an exact location or company name, so please don't ask.

I am currently looking for information and ideas from you, the riders.

So speak up...

I would appreciate it but at the same time I do not think its a good money making idea. The two big things are lack of riders and the fact that it would only be open from June to September. So you mean it would be 1.5 hours from Pittsburgh?
