|
|
Hey guys, Last August I crested the Wake really hard and could barely walk soon after... I was limping around for a week or two, then took it easy and eventually I felt like it was healed.
Skip ahead to December, I was snowboarding.. no wipeouts or anything, but after I was done for the day the pain had returned and has stayed with me and it's still bothersome..
Day to day activities are fine, but certain things still really hurt, like putting my shoes on and pulling then off hurt the outside of my knee really bad, and I can't sit on the floor or try to sit cross legged at all..
So it's bothersome, but not killing me...
I have a MRI scheduled for March 20th, and a visit to the Knee Specialist in the area sometime after..
I was wondering, should I stay worried that this season could be impacted? (Launch date should be End of April / Early May). I know without a professional opinion yet, it's hard to diagnose.
What I am worried about is, if I have to wait until after the season kicks off to see the Specialist... I just don't want to kill my entire season with a Knee injury :/
Sorry to nag.... _________________ Alright. It's Saturday night. I have no date, a two liter bottle of Shasta and my all rush mix tape. Let’s rock! |

I guess that's a reason socialized healthcare sucks. I could probably get in for an MRI today and see my ortho doc by friday if I wanted. _________________

| Don't a lot of people drive to Buffalo to get a quick MRI? You're close enough anyway... but I guess if you already have one scheduuled it's pointless. |

How much is an MRI and a appointment with a specialist.. or is all that covered under your health plan? _________________ Alright. It's Saturday night. I have no date, a two liter bottle of Shasta and my all rush mix tape. Let’s rock! |
