Best day of my life

After a long time away from the forums, I'm back, and I got a story many of you will hate me for. My girlfriend and I where really excited to go to the Chicago Boat Show, so we did. We were just going to look around and have some fun but that's now how it ended. Well to make a long story short, we bought a brand new 2008 Supra Launch 21V loaded and my girlfriend bought the new Ronix Dahlia package! It was crazy going to the boat show just to look for fun and we walk out with all that! The best part of the boat show wasn't getting the boat or new board, but hanging out with Danny Harf! He was there supporting and promoting Ronix and let me tell you, he is awesome! He's extremely nice, down-to-earth, and inspiring. Danny signed my girlfriend's new board and signed the Ronix brochure for us too! It was definitely a day to remember and now I am going insane sitting at home waiting to go boarding! Impulse is a bitch.

WOW, that is cool but how do not plan on spending over 50k. you must have thought there must have been a chance to drop that much ca$h.

We have been planning to buy a new boat since last year but I never thought it would happen at the boat show. We took advantage of the discounts, I never would have guessed.

alafiaboarder, cant tell ya because I honestly dont know. My pops doesnt like to talk about financial stuff with us kids. I know that it was an awesome deal, and we got a great trade in value for our Bryant as well.

NAW, yeah we did buy the white floor model. I know we're getting tower speakers getting installed too. I think we close on it at the end of this month so we're heading up to the shop soon.

somewhere out there is a boat rep saying: Dude! Best day of my life! Didn't expect to sell anything at the boat show, just stuff w/ a bunch of tire kickers and try not to kill them when they ask stupid questions. But some fool rolled up w/ his girlfriend and i smelled blood! gave him the 30 second sell and he handed me his check book - CHA CHING! unloaded that one we couldn't sell the last 6 months.

We went to the Tulsa Boat show to "just look". Last Saturday I hauled our new boat home.

Today at lunch I went to Boaters World to pick up the necesities: anchor, dock lines, throw cusion, paddle, bumpers, etc.... $250 later I still have NO NEW WAKEBOARDING stuff. Rolling Eyes

I bought my first board there about 3 years ago O'Brien Ambush 143. Sun&Ski is the only other place in Tulsa to buy from and they are EXPENSIVE!

Little did I know at the time, that number at the end means something Embarassed

They have lots of good boards @ boaters world, just can figure out what I want. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm 6'1" 150 lbs. Love big air, can W2W but want to add some real tricks.

Any suggestions?
