hey, i would like to tramp board this winter but i'm only a kid so buying one is out of the question?
i was thinking about gettin my old skateboard and taking off the trucks for my tramp board. whats the best way to strap myself onto it?
i was thinking gettin some cheap velcro and stramping X pattens over each foot.
is there any other ways i could strap myself in?

thanks Very Happy

If you don't care about the shoes all that much, just duct tape them to the board.

Odds are that the board will break before you wear out the shoes.

You might want to put some tape around the entire edge of the skate deck as well to protect the trampoline.

Try screwing some old shoes to the bottom of the deck with short screws. Just make sure they don't go through the bottom and rip your trampoline.

i would just duct tape your shoes to a skateboard deck, and duct tape your tips of the skateboard so you dont have to worry about ripping the trampoline

I'm going to make a tramp board soon. What do you guys think good dimensions are? Also what kind of fabric works? I saw ATXParrothead's looks like denim

It's actually indoor/outdoor carpeting that i got from home depot. I then used a staple gun to staple the carpet to the wood. If i remember right, i used like a 1/2 inch thick piece of wood that was prolly 3.5 feet long. I then rounded the ends(corners off) so that it wouldn't tear/rip the trampoline.

I wanted the tramp board to feel as much like a wakeboard as far as weight was concerned. I know the length isnt' exactly as long as a wakeboard is, but the wgt was definitely close. I then already had from a beginner wakeboard that i had picked up from the local sports store (Academy if your in TX) and used those cheap-o velcro bindings on the tramp board.

That snowboard idea is a great one. I have an extra snowboard lying around.

i decided to paint the bottom with some old house paint and then put a pattern and sticker on the bottom
i've made it so it can be used like a skateboard or a wakeboard
i did this by putting old shoelace through the holes where the trucks were and tying them off underneath
and when i want to be strapped in i slide some velcro through the trucks and then strap it around a shoe and becose i have mega small feet anyone can use it!!!

i'm so proud of myself lol

I finally finished my attempt. The carpet edges could have turned out better, but I'm happy with it
