Wakeboard Camps

Anyone been to some wakeboard camps and would like to give me some recommendations? I'm looking specifically at The Boarding School and The Wakeboard Camp... at the moment am leaning more towards the second one. Just want to see if anyone has anything to say about these places.

Super question, I'm a long time wakeboarder.commer. I'd gone to The Wakeboard Camp 5 times since 2000. I liked it so much I work there now!

Really though, I am a coach here now, and it's the greatest camp there is. Good food, great equipment and I gotta say, awesome coaching.

You don't happen to know a Jeff Stuart there in Edmond do you? He's a friend of mine, and I spent a good day of my life there in Edmond on my drive down here to Florida. Well, I'm headed out to the boats right now to get them ready to go out. Later!

I've been to the Boarding School and had a great time. Shaun, Travis, and Kyle are all great guys. You have your choice of any Hyperlite board, even though I just stuck to my LF substance most of the time. The house is pretty cool and basically the guys will get any food you want. You ride as much as you want. It was good. You ride behind the X-star. You can get a discount at Performance too. The dogs are cool. I watched wakeboard videos at night.

I can't comment on the wakeboard camp because I have never been there.

I've been to The Wakeboard Camp in Clermont twice. Its fantastic and I can't recommend it hightly enough. Cool

Is Kurt still there, I can't remember if I bumped into him at Surf Expo last fall or not. (I bumped into PJ and Kyle though.)

I third The Wakeboard Camp, I've spent 3 weeks there over the years and every time I've gone I've learned a ton of new stuff.

Thanks for the suggestions. Looks like i'll be at the Wakeboard Camp for a week sometime during early June or late May. Can't wait Very Happy

DRAGON88, We went directly from Surf Expo to TWC back in Sept. Kurt was there all week but was headed back to NZ at the end of the week. Amber, Benny G, and Aaron were there that week as well. It was just awesome. I'll be headed back for the third time next September, again in conjunction with Surf Expo. Can't wait!! Cool

DRAGON88, I started here in Dec of 2007. I dropped everything and moved out here when Kyle told me I got the job. And yeah, Kurt is still here, but in NZ at the moment. He spends all his time in the summer, just goes to whichever hemisphere that happens to fall upon at the time!

As for the discount, if you can talk Kyle or Kurt into it, then yeah, you'll get hooked up, haha. I don't pull much weight around here quite yet. I'll be here though if you come back, we'll go shred it up out there. My face isn't on the site yet, I'm not real big on seeing pictures of myself, so I'll just wait til Kyle wants to get it done. Wink
