Dean Smith has been going nuts down under and despite wrecking himself pretty hard on a slider, this footage shows how good and crazy he is.

Those landings look tough as hell. After reading that 'wonderful' article, do you think that huge ramps like that is the next step for wakeboarding? _________________ It is...

wow...guys about as good as me :p lol
ya it shows that those type of landings can definatley hurt your knees/back. I think the big ramps will start to become the "big thing" sometime in wakeboarding. |

| If cable parks continue to grow like they are I think there is a strong chance to see big ramps becoming a part of wakeboarding |

i hope more technical rails show up, not so much "big ramps" I've hit a few kickers that i can boost off of that i really just dont want any more air. I've broken enough equip off the ones at owc now, dont need any bigger ones or the knee's will be next to go _________________ Broke, Unsponsored, Carless, Broken donor cycle, 18 credit hours... and i drive to class wheeliein my sisters 49cc scooter... yea im bawlin |

Who proofread this?
They spelled Shapiro's name wrong and missed a couple spaces.

that was sick. Dean spent a while in orlando riding at o-dub last year, and did just the biggest moby dicks i've ever seen off big white. They were so clean and controlled, but it sucked to ride behind him cause the cable was always shaking too much _________________

yea. i've met him before at owc and we were talkin about different stuff off big white and where to start cuttin and stuff if u go around the outside of nessy and hit kicker when it was still on the left. Following him into my glides was inspiring, trying to push somebody who has no regards for his knees off that kicker and can poke out some sick nasty glides was one of my favorite days of riding. i really wanna make it back to owc soon... 18 credit hours and work is kickin my ass right now. about the whole doing 30 in the air off a kicker, ill pass _________________ Broke, Unsponsored, Carless, Broken donor cycle, 18 credit hours... and i drive to class wheeliein my sisters 49cc scooter... yea im bawlin |

Thats pretty sick. Although im not gonna lie, he doesnt go as big as i expected in reading the article and these posts ^^^. Maybe its the camera angle but I feel like ive seen some bigger airs off a kicker. The one that comes to mind is some podcast I have with Darf charging a kicker (I think at a PWT stop or WWA) starting inside the wake and just flying into it. He does a huge HS 5 and almost hits the dock. Its madness. Regardless, its still big and I think we'll definitely see more big kickers. |

LakeIolaLuke, I couldn't even get through the first paragraph without my idiot translator bogging down. I assume the rest is equally insulting to our sport and the english language as a whole. _________________ "I'm scared if I stop drinking all at once, the cumulative hangover will literally kill me." |

I didn't even get past the first sentence after watching the video before thinking "wow, just... wow" and closing the window _________________ Keep Austin Weird |
