|
|
So I currently live in Wisconsin, but will be moving to the Houston area soon for a job, and I was hoping some of you could help me out.
I know the move will be hard and all, leaving the lake I live on in Wisconsin, but I am hoping there are some good places in the Houston area to ride to make this all a little easier............
If you can let me know of any places so I can check them out when I move to the area that would be great!
Thanks in advance!

There are a lot of places to ride in Houston if you don't mind brackish water it all depends on what part of town you live in. Check out www.gcwa.com for the local scene. _________________ There'll be two dates on your tombstone/ And all your friends will read 'em/ But all that's gonna matter is that little dash between 'em... |

OW.
As for locations to ride, there are quite a few in Houston. And a good group of locals on here from there that can show you around and help you get familiar with the local riding scene. |

| Snoop, I live in West Bend, WI. I live on Silver Lake in West Bend. It isn't a very big lake, but it is fun and only 2 other people wakeboard besides me and my friends. I also go out to Big Cedar Lake in West Bend a lot. |

| Well, I am not sure yet where I am going to live exactly, still looking at places. I hope the riding is good since I am used to some amazing conditions on the lake I currently live on! I just don't want to have to give it up when I move so I'm hoping to find some great spots! |

BOARDING CHICK , My girlfriend has a lakehouse on Silver Lake close to the public beach by Scully's Restuarant. It's in between the Mobil and BP. I know the "Coffees" [don't know how to spell their name] and another set of guys wakeboard plus you can usually see a few weekend warriors. We go up every weekend and wakeboard. We just got a 2008 Supra Launch 21V with lots of extras! My girlfriend is always saying she wishes more girls wakeboarded, so you're more than welcome to come get a pull anytime if you're still around or come back to visit. _________________ It is...

BOARDING CHICK,
The scene in Houston is good. I met alot of good people thru GWA as mentioned above. The best places to ride have to be the rivers. When are you coming to town there are a couple events posted on the web site. Welcome to Houston. Post up on GCWA and introduce yourself you will get a great welcome there. |

Hey snoop do ever ride on Browns Lake or Tichigan? If you do you might remeber our boat because it is pretty memorable. It is a fish and ski with a makeshift tower on it. maybe we should meet up some time. _________________
nessie is my homeboy so its all gravy
|

LF_WaKeR,
We have only been on Twin Lakes and obviously Silver Lake in this area. Silver can get a little rough on the weekends so if Browns or Tichigan is calm, we might just have to come out there. When it gets warmer and the snow melts, we'll figure something out. _________________ It is...
