|
|
My Wakeboard Pro just stopped working yesterday. The speed reads fine and beeps like it should but then doesn't take over. Sometimes there is a # next to the desired speed. I looked at the servo and noticed that the cord is fully wound. It also doesn't unwind when the boat hits the desired speed. Any Ideas?
Thanks |

| The pound sign means that you haven't given it enough gas for it to take over. |

Thanks for the explanation of the # sign, that makes sense. I see it after I have already accelerated to the desired speed. When Perfect Pass continues to let the boat accelerate, I back off the throttle a little and after it passes through the desired speed on the downside, thats when I see the # sign.
Do you know if the cord should be fully wound around the servo knob when the boat is in nuetral? It looks to me like it is now fully wound so it can't add any gas but isn't correctly unwinding to decelerate.
Thanks again |

| E-mail PP. They are the greatest as far as responding to their customers and offering advice. They usually returned my e-mails within two days and they were always right on! Good luck! |

| I think it should be unwound. Do you have this years cruise or a previous year? You should be in nuetral when you turn cruise on and OFF |

I had a problem with my Wakeboard Cruise. No matter what I did the cruise would not lock in when I got to the correct speed. Over and over, reset, turned it off and started it over. Nothing worked.
After about 10 minutes of wondering, frustration, I figured it out. I still had the travel plug in and the paddle wheel laid motionless in the bilge area.
I felt a little small, but happy it was something simple. It usually is. |

unwind it a little manualy, then turn the ignition on does it wind tight? Or just turn on the igniton it should unwind a little then tighten. The servo's are known to go bad. there is a diagnostic test you can run also through the guage controller, Its in the owners manuel. If I can remember correctly you hold the menu button down with one of the other buttons ( cant remember off hand wich one) and it will run diagnosis. Try menu with each one until it runs it??? This is just for wakeboard pro. _________________ Live to fix so you can ride |
