| I want to get a boat in the last 1980's but do not know what boats are good besides nautiques. I have been looking for a while but no nautiques for sale are in existance around me. What other boats are good and please list the boats year

Check out www.boattraderonline.com if you have'nt been there, lot's of older Nautiques and they get great reviews from the people that have them. I've been behind a mid-80's Nauti with about 500lb in the back and about the same in the front, as well as a few "fat sack friends" it throws a respectable wake.
Also watch eBay.
Be patient.

Mid 80's I would look for a Nautique, Malibu, or Mastercraft. My buddy Tyler has a 1986 Malibu that with 500#'s in the back has a decent wake.

I have a 90 Supra Comp TS6M I have been thinking of selling - I would ask 9k for it (Not trying to sell you my boat as you are in Boston). But you could look at the older Supra Ski boats as well. You can find them for under 10k. Here is the wake with a 540 fatsac in the rear and 3 people in the boat.

I have a 89 Centurion Falcon. With fat sacs it throws a nice wake. It is kind of a different wake that takes some getting used to. Has a real deep trough and kinda a roller wake. We got ours for a little over 9 but it LOW hours so ....

| Mid 80's Mastercraft Prostar 190's are also a real good value. There are many around in that price range. The wake isn't quite as as good as the SN 2001 hulls, but the quality of the boat equals it. The wake can be quite good when weighted properly, just not quite as much vert to it. 90% of my riding has been behind these two hulls, so let me know if you need more details on how they compare.

| I bought my 85 2001 for 7000 and put a tower and system on it, and for about 10000, it's throwin a great wake, sounds good, and I own it outright(which for 19 years old i thought was pretty good) so I guess, look for an 80's comp boat, pretty much any of them will do, I just got lucky and found a nautique.
