K so i was messing around with my board earlier and made the stance as wide as it goes and hopped on my buddies tramp, it seemed a lot easier to control and i had no problem busting out 5's.
Is this just my imagination or does having the widest stance comfortable make it easier ? _________________ Cali > Florida |

You will have tons of board control but i have noticed that when you are on the water i get unconformtable, but i guess it is just personal preference. _________________
nessie is my homeboy so its all gravy
|

| It will help you be stable but you shouldn' t go too wide because you're gonna hurt your knees and your back... |

A couple things to mention on stance width.
A wider stance will make you more stable. It also tires you out a little faster.
The important thing to note is that if you go wide on your stance make sure your bindings are ducked out more than they were. Your knees have the most support if the pressure is applied in a direct line. If your legs are real wide and your feet are straight, the pressure on your knees is at an angle.
Basically what I'm saying is when you bend your knees your knees should be over your toes (not to the left or right).
I ride all the way out. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |
