Hey,
I am picking up my new 2002 centurion sport with zero hours on it next Monday. I bought the 1200lb launch pad couch for the back, and i the proflight tower is being installed this week. Does anyone have suggestions about more weight, stereo, lights, or anything else of that sort that you can build on your own? I CANT WAIT!!!! by the way I paid $23,500 with tower included is that a good deal I dont really care much if its not because im stoked regardless. thanks for your time and have a good one.

That seems like a sweet deal for sure.....I think that boat is 21'4" long and an 88" beam. Being so narrow, it probably won't take much to weight the boat. You're probably going to want 60% of your weight in the back and 40% in the front. If you're gonna run 1200 in the rear, put 800 in the bow, but that seems like a bunch of weight for that boat...good luck. Lots of people on here have built speakers, lights and racks, do a search for homemade lights or homemade speakers.

I used to have a Sport Bowrider. Sold it last year. I usually ran a 375lb sac on each side of the engine, another 350 up front and about 350lb in back. Not a huge wake but OK. Here are some pictures of the boat...maybe give you some ideas for the tower.

| I used to have one of those, too. We used a Fat seat in the back, and a 600# sack in the front. The wake was'nt the biggest in the world, but would throw you straight up. You just have to be careful of your own rollers when you turn around to pick up a fallen rider. The nose on that boat will take water on very easily!

| It will have less than an hour on it. Centurion does lake test their boats. I think the dealer means "no hours" in a loose sense of the term, i.e. no one has used it other than testing for proper running operation.

| I put 500 pounds of lead evenly throughout the boat and a 600 pound sack in place of the rear seat. Makes for a pretty good wake for a ski boat.

well I got it and the tower went on today. I have a 1200er in the back and a 540 sack up front. I took it out last week without tower and was clearing wake by three feet or so. Its not the biggest wake but Its a fun wake.
