have a launch20ssv with the 3 factory ballast bags. I have replaced one
in the rear with a much larger bag for surfing. it takes up the whole storage compartment. I have one pump that is mounted in front of the engine and runs through 3 valves to pump water. problem is it takes around 10 minutes to fill up the largest bag.
anyone know how to make it faster?
I suppose I could mount 3 pumps, one for each bag in the back, but hoping there's a simpler solution, such as a larger pump, or different valves?
thanks |

If you add an intake pump to fill each bag you will need to drill two more intake holes in your boat. The simpler solution is to replace the one intake pump you have with a faster pump. The one you have is probably a 2000 gph pump. You can put a 4000 gph pump on there and it will speed it up. Also, if you drive your boat while filling them up they will fill up faster as well. _________________ "I'm not a professional wakeboarder, but I did stay in a Holiday Inn last night". |

are the pumps pretty much universal in mounting? I had to take it off once right after I picked the boat up to replace the brass fitting that shuts the water off so I know how to pull it.
didn't know that you can drive to fill up faster. I usually just sat on the lake waiting, and waiting, and waiting, and waiting.....
thanks for the advice... |
