| I have one and love it...It is no 210 wake, but with some extra weight it makes for a great wake. Go to planetnautique.com for more info on the 211... |

Rosh, how is your time split up between skiing, wakeboarding, cruising etc?
The 211 is a great boat, but how great depends on how you are going to use it. _________________ wakeboards

Rosh, I'd look into something more "wake specific" then if that's your interest.
VLX, 210, 205V, 22ssv etc. _________________ wakeboards

Right now I have a 1998 Moomba LS inboard (or had becuase the sale is done, but they will pick it up next week), the diference in the wake will be big from the inboard to the SV 211 and to the others mentioned on the last post?

Rosh, depends on how much weight you were running/ how much weight you plan to run in the new boat. Both are still inboards, the v-drive just has a special transfer case.
IMO if you don't cross-over at all then the 211 really looses a lot of its appeal. For the same money as the 211 you can get a boat that puts out a bigger stock wake, and a hull that has better potential.
Unless you REALLY like the layout of the 211 and find it to be a good trade off for the wake it will put out. The 211 will put out a nice wake. But it takes more than stock ballast to get it there. _________________ wakeboards

Also depends on rider skill level. Unless you're an advanced rider, a massive wake will probably do more harm than good for advancing your riding skills.
But I'll second the recommendation to look elsewhere if all you do is wakeboard. (And that's coming from a 211 owner).
210 makes a real nice wake if you like Nautiques. |
