Installed my Skylon Xtreme tower and 1,280 watt stereo system with dual 12" subs. Also added the Skylon Fat Buddies and locker sac. Awesome-it is like having a new boat.

Anyone out there have one of the Perfect Pass systems on an I/O? Are you happy with it?

I have a Wakeboard Cruise on my Glastron SX 195. Works great. Wouldn't want to board without one.
I also weight my Glastron by filling the ski locker and the spaces under the 2 front bow seats. I use heavy duty trash bags filled with water. They fill the spaces just right. A slight trim up and it throws a pretty good wake.

arlanj: Thanks for the insight! Do you have the RPM based control or the paddle wheel? Does it work well in the turns? That is where my wife has the most problems maintaining speed. I actually have the Skylon 600lb locker sack, but I haven't filled it yet. Last couple times out I had a boat full of people. Call me crazy, but I am actually searching for an automotive cruise control that might work on the baot, as they only run about $150.

You need the Cruise with the paddlewheel. The RPM model is not designed for wakeboarding boats. The paddlewheel works great and maintains speed during the turns. Regular turns that is. If you crank it it sometimes looses its way till you straighten out. At $575.00 it is well worth the money. If you can do it for $150.00 that would be great. The problem is that it would have different speeds based on how much the boarder weighed and how many people in the boat. Those factors change the RPM. With the paddle wheel model, I went out the other day for the first time in 6 months and the first ride was exactly the same as I rode last year. Perfect. It doesn't matter how much the weight of the boat or rider changes the speed is the same. How sweet it is.

Another difference between an auto cruise is the fact that once set, you do not have to push any resume buttons unless you shut down the motor. Then its just hit the power and the resume button. When you pull back on the throttle when the rider falles the PP releases and waits for me to speed back up and it AUTOMATICALLY takes over. I don't have to hit any buttons between rides.

Sweet boat, I have a Glastron just like that, except it's a GX185, What type of weight distribution do you use. What model and year Glastron is that? Is that the duel Prop model engine? How many HP's. I have a monster Tower on mine...

It is a 2001 GX225 with the 5.7 liter GS-DPS. It is the Volvo Duo Prop with 250 HP. I absolutely love the DP, as it launches the boat out of the hole like a dragster, but still tops out at over 55 MPH. The boat is very heavy to begin with-about 3,650 pounds, so it puts out a nice wake. The only weight enhancement I have is the Skylon 600# locker sac.

Not yet, but I will get some next time out. Even without the locker sac, itp puts out a much better wake than my friends Centurion.
