Ok, now this is going to sound like a stupid question to everyone who wakeboards, but what does the tower do? I know there's a reason for having a tower and not just a water ski bar, but I was wondering why. Also, I've only ever ridden behind a boat with a water ski bar and am having so much trouble doing 360s because I can't handle pass. Everytime I go to pass the boat pulls me over and I whip my head into the water and it hurts. Does having a tower stop the boat from pulling a rider over and instead pulls the rider up more or do I have bad technique that causes me to get pulled over and miss the pass? thanks.

the tower gives the rider an upward pull and allows for more hangtime when jumping the wakes.

stompin7s is right on about the towers.

for the handle pass though, you need to pull that handle into your hip. keeping the handle close to your body will help you stay more on-axis.

what kind of rope are you using? if you're using a ski rope, it will stretch and help to pull you off-axis.

You can go to a local board shop and get wake rope for about 60 to 70 bucks which will be fine for learning.

In these threads people inevitably talk about hang time, "lift" etc.

I love my tower because it also holds 4 boards, 4 speakers, and a mirror. Wakeboards take up room on a boat. Towers make more space. Cool

Oh yeah, a tower will also make you magically get the sickest air in the world dawg! Mr. Green
