Ok, I am looking to buy a laptop. I want it basically for normal college stuff, and photoshop. Maybe a lower end game like CS 1.6 from time to time.
Anyone know a descent one in the price range of 400-800$? Anyone that knows some good deals, post here! Thanks |

colefooter, Normal college stuff and Photoshop are polar opposites, but I just bought my in-laws a compaq C717 - 80gb 5400rpm, 15.2" wide screen, 1gb RAM, DRD - RW, with Vista and MS office, and a 3:1 printer/scanner/fax + 2 yr warranty for $500. Circuit City had the same computer for $299 yesterday (see "My First Experience With Black Friday" thread), but they are probably long gone.
...but for $500 with printer I think it was a pretty good deal. _________________
