Take your boat to your local car stereo / acc. shop and let them do it the same as you would your car. I wouldn't try to use the peal and stick do-it-yourself stuff, because it will end up bubbling like wakeboarder said. Shouldn't cost more than $75 - $100 to do your boat. You only have 4 small windows.

On that boat I would probably not bother tinting the windows just because I don't think it would look right... If you do end up tinting them you can do it yourself by going to Autozone and getting whatever % tint and apply it yourself, or go to a place that does it and have them do it. Doing it yourself will be cheaper but somewaht timeconsuming. Make sure you get all the dirt, dust, etc off the glass before you start by using plenty of Windex and a razor blade to scrape the stuck on particles off.

If you take your time and are clean and careful it will come out looking good. The below pic is 2.5% and I did it myself with tint from Autozone. A few hours and it was done...

If you were to tint it, I'd only tint it about 20%... 15% max.

To tell the truth, it's a pain trying to see throught 2.5%. It makes riding at dusk nearly impossible, but I'm not going to take it off it gives the boat so much more attitude! Cool

Tinting boat windows is GAY with a capital G! Colorful I've seen plenty of them done and I've never seen one that looks good. Don't waste your time or your money with this modification.

I know he can, but he was asking for opinions and I gave him mine.

By the way, did I tell you I think it looks gay? Very Happy

PS - I see you are from Florence. My wife is from there. Where do you ride at? Is there anywhere close? I don't think I will drag my boat down there ever, but it would be nice to know I could. Thanks.

TINT IT! my girl did her x-10 and it came out tight! We got it done for like less than $200. Driving with it is fine, plus it really helps keep the inside of the boat cool in the texas sun!

Orzech - yes. i have to say that that M with the tinted windows looks stupid IMHO.

The N that Dees posted is probably the closet thing to decent as I have seen. I think that is because he has the black accent that the window matches pretty well. I think it would still look better without any tinting, but at least it did ruin the boat like all the other pictures I have seen, including the M.

There is a point at which you can make you boat look silly by adding too much - and tinting the windows does it for me personally. Plus - most of the people admit that it makes driving the boat harder, especially at night. So it is a dumb looking mod that actually decreases the functionality of the boat.

Tyler*Moore, I haven't gotten any of the boat out of the carport since I got the tint done. I'm gonna try and snap a few this weekend.

When you say JUST like mine, do you mean the the boat is all black or does it have a stripe of some kind on it?
