I am a bigger guy (230lbs) and I am looking at getting into Wakesurfing. Looking at the new 2008 Liquid Force Venture and I love the look. What size should I grab? 5' or 5'6"? I ride behind my Moomba Mobius LSV.

Definitely 5'6. For bigger guys bigger boards are pretty much required. I'm 205 and haven't been able to surf on anything less than 5'6.

the larger venture should suit you OK. you could also look at the Inland Surfer Blue Lake -- it is a great board for bigger guys.

on the other hand, depending on how the board is built, you don't need a huge board. I've taken to shaping my own boards. This board is 4'7" x 21" x 1 3/4" -- just for reference i weigh 200lbs.
