Another video of Daniel, age 6.

A few decent jumps, some grabs, a 180 crash, and general goofing around.

Enjoy!

Constructive riding feedback appreciated.

He can ride some switch, but not up to full speed (21MPH) yet. He is ok until about 15 or 16MPH, but my boat will not throw a reliable wake at that speed. I suspect by the time winter falls (another 8 weeks of riding left, I am guessing) he will have it.

Working on it, but he still does not have his W2W. God bless him, he had 5 teary eyed attempts last time out. He consistently clips the top of the 2nd wake, goes out the front, hooks his toes, and eats it really bad. Again, I suspect he will have it before the lake cools to a unbearable 70 degrees Laughing

Laughing Laughing Twice his age?!?! Thats all you can come up with? Hell, I was almost 6 times his age when I first wakeboarded!

Nice to see kids getting started early. I think his TS is better than mine. Smile

I have 7 & 10 year old girls that ride & competed in their 1st comp this summer. Unfortunately, conditions where less than optimal & they were thrown about like ragdolls.

Nope, not the Perd... just a lucky day on the Sandy Creek arm.

We actually took yesterday afternoon off work and school and when to the Perd. See attached photo.... It was the best water conditions that we had this year.

Great video . At the end he is on a tramp and has something on his feet to act as the board. Any tips on how to build it or do you just use a board with no fins.

I used an old skate board deck, an old pair of sneakers and a pair of the ugliest red socks I could find.

1. I covered the board by pulling the socks on, one from either end.

2. I tied the shoes to the board using twine. (thru the existing truck holes)

The 4 holes for each truck worked excellent. thru 2 to tie the front of the shoes, thru 2 to tie the back of the shoes. If you can pull the socks past the truck holes on the far end of the board you can poke holes thru them. When you attach the shoes, the socks will stay pulled tight.

The socks are really unneccessary, but did pad the edge for when he front rolls into his brother. It probably saves the tramp from scratching as well, but it depends on how fussy you are about your tramp.

Great video. My daughter is 6 and just learned to wakeboard last summer. She wants to start crossing the wakes this year. Now where is she? She now has a lot to live up to. Laughing
