Can the Wedge be put on boats other than the Malibu's? Say, Moomba's? anyone done it?

I've heard stories of people trying, and causing significant damage to their boats... the angle and strength of the transom is important. If the transom is too week and the angle is too great, you're likely to rip the boat up...
