| Nice video, awhile back somebody posted a video of their temper tantrum attempt and landed flat on their face, thats probably the worst fall I've seen. |

Good videos in here! Not too many wreck stories, so I'll share my most painful one.
I was going for an indy tantrum off the double up. I threw it way too early and under rotated (just like a couple dudes in that first video). I landed heavy on my toe edge and my right foot hurt like crazy right away. When I got out of the water and stood on the swim platform, it felt like the wood planks were shifting up and down, but I looked down to see and it was my big toe that was doing the moving. I had dislocated my big toe. That means that the main joint of it in the foot was freely moving up about an inch out of place.
That thing got swollen up and I couldn't put any pressure on it for 2 weeks or it would pop back out, very painful (although I've been lucky that's the worst I've been hurt, I know lots of other people have had worse). The worst part was that since doctors had told me they could've helped other injuries if I'd come in right away, I decided I'd best go get it checked out, I thought it might be broken. So we left the lake, and that was the day that Necrason was going to do a photoshoot at our home lake in Oregon, which never had happened before. So I totally ruined that for my friends!
And quickly, my most awesome crash on the water was actually on the land. When I was a wee lad, I was kneeboarding (way back in the day) at Shasta in a narrow section and on a corner, I swung out, didn't weigh enough to edge back in with how fast I was going, and slammed into the shore. I got covered in mud and landed about 5 feet out of the water, the board came unstrapped and landed up above me on the shore, pretty sweet. |
