| whats the best place on lake michigan in the chicago land for good water?smaller inland lakes are acceptable to, thanks in advance for the info. |

| i ride right over the boarder on twin lakes. Its not always that calm but its where my boat is so i dont have that much of a choice. If you get out on the chain during the week you can find some good water. |

the fox river is usually really calm, you can even find a glassy spot on weekends sometimes.
plus, that's where my boat is so...
