Just wondering how this skate rides? I am thinking i might want to pick up a wakeskate for next season and this might be the one. I would prefer a good amount of pop.

Will this last me a year or so?

Also, What's the equivalent to a 135 wakeboard for wake skate size.. (I know the sizes will be in the one hundred teens, but still what is close to that. I weigh 140)

WakeboardDrumma, That skate has minimal pop. If you want somethign a little better, get a contoured foam top, like an LF faction. wood skates do not last very long either. I'd say go around 40 or 42 inches, which is aobut everage size for a skate. (105 to 110 cm)

snowmonkey, I dont think he wants to spend $200+ for his first skate.

The wakeskates and wakeboards way about the same. Although Hyperlite's skate run a little big. Catalyst's are 112 and 116cm. I know of a guy selling an oak for a reasonable price. If you want me to contact him for you, shoot me a pm. It is and Oak Artificial Heart from 06.

Post Scriptum, are you ever on wakeskating.com?

Well, I know it's kind of not smart, but this afternoon, my grandma came over to order my birthday present, which was going to be an epic camera housing, but i decided to get a wakeskate and shoes instead Laughing

I got the Hyperlite Catalyst 112, and also got the Ambush/DVS kenyan shoes to go along with it. Should be a good set up.
