I recently learned a theory on throwing these "ralleys" (what's the correct spelling???)
cut out... when HS cutting in, do at a 45º angle. In air and while extended, look right at the top of the tower pole where rope is
I've got the above steps down and getting sweet extension. Here's my "weird" problem I'm hoping to remedy...
The 'correct' way to land them after extension is to pull the handle in by the knees.
Instead, what I'm doing is while parallel to the water, I seem to turn 180º (while still parallell to the water) so it's like a raley with my back facing the water. While finishing this rotation would be a cool trick (ralley to corked 3 or something it would be called?) I am just trying to learn the basic one.
Suggestions or reasoning why I unintentionally spin once extended? Am I holding it too long?

Sounds like you're hitting it too tail heavy. Everyone does that when learning. Hit the lip with even pressure on both feet and lean forward. What I like to think of is trying to snap the handle over my front knee. Give it a shot. _________________
