Check out mine. It has a custom tower with bimini and two very large ballast tanks. That 35 has more than enough power.

STANG Rode hard and put away wet is just a term or phrase. It was winterized, ran last years, its about a 79 glastron hull with a big 350 in it too. But i think J-Doggs boat takes the Cake for the biggest LUMP in here. And it does belong in this thread. If the hull had dogshit stuffed it in it may perform better.

Sorry, don't have my POS boat anymore, sold it last weekend. It was a '69 Sidewinder Tahiti with a Mercury 115 ob that my grandparents bought brand new in '69. (I had to sell it to help pay for the '99 MB that we bought last month. Very Happy ) Anyway, this is a great thread & just wanted to say that most of these boats do exactly what my old one did for me. I was able to get out & play!! I learned how to go wake to wake behind my old one & it put such a small wake out that it would put a tournament ski boat to shame (I know, I've skied behind CC, 'bu, MB & my old one had a better ski wake). It's not what you ride (or ski) behind, it's the fact that you're using it for that purpose. I bought my MB because it was time & we can afford it, but most importantly because we use it for skiing & wakeboarding, not to impress anyone on our street or the lake (I could care less what they think). I have some friends (& even more acquaintences) that have tournament boats that they bought new that are easily worth twice what mine is worth, yet they get used maybe 4 or 5 times a year & then only to show that they're keeping up with the Jones'. To me that's just so sad & such a waste!! (Sorry for the rant, sometimes I can't keep it in!)

To all of you that still have your POS, keep on keeping on. You'll have your dream boat (or close to it) some day. Just remember, if you didn't have your POS you wouldn't have a boat at all. (There were several years with my Sidewinder when I honestly felt like I would have been better off without it - hole in the water into which you throw money, how about whirlpool in the water into which all of your money is sucked without your consent!?! Evil or Very Mad )

BTW, my vote is for Skwake. Ghetto doesn't do that justice!
