I hooked up with a guy here on the forums earlier today and he ended up having a wake skate so I tried it and man is it different. I usually ride on a hyperlite 3DS with all fins on (ridiculous tracking on that thing) and the wake skate had no fins. I don't know if thats normal, but wow was it slippery. First time I got up I leaned back just a little and planted on my arse, then I got to swim a good 50 feet for the board
It was awesome though, I'd never tried it before and it turned out to be really fun. I only did one 20 minute run but I almost landed a shove-it and I don't skateboard so I was pretty stoked about that. Maybe if I go out more often I'll start wake skating a bit more, but I can't say I enjoy swimming for the board on every fall |

You're looking at it all wrong. The further you swim for the board, the bigger you must have been trying to go! Probably entertained the people in the boat more too. _________________
