I hooked up with a guy here on the forums earlier today and he ended up having a wake skate so I tried it and man is it different. I usually ride on a hyperlite 3DS with all fins on (ridiculous tracking on that thing) and the wake skate had no fins. I don't know if thats normal, but wow was it slippery. First time I got up I leaned back just a little and planted on my arse, then I got to swim a good 50 feet for the board Smile

It was awesome though, I'd never tried it before and it turned out to be really fun. I only did one 20 minute run but I almost landed a shove-it and I don't skateboard so I was pretty stoked about that. Maybe if I go out more often I'll start wake skating a bit more, but I can't say I enjoy swimming for the board on every fall Wink

You're looking at it all wrong. The further you swim for the board, the bigger you must have been trying to go! Probably entertained the people in the boat more too.Very Happy
