I went and rode behind a friends CC236, and damn was there a big difference. Its alot more steep and narrow then the wake on the G-tron. _________________ 04 LF Trip 133

| wow, this thread is unreal. i almost dont remember what it started out as. i am very impressed that it has almost made it back to the beginning tho. i used to ride behind a 16ft outboard campion (i think), no weight, tower, nothing. it was still a pretty good ride tho. father recently bought a 175 bayliner with a tower, so hopefully this will speed up the progression. |

benjaminp, this is my first time looking at this thread since my last post back in july... and i really wish i would have looked at it about 6 months sooner but i think i just forgot.
it doesnt seem right to respond to "blake" considering that this is 6 months late ha.
also it doesnt seem right because i only gave blake sht in the first place because i thought he was getting the thread off topic... ha i didnt have the forsight to see that by doing that i was getting the thread wayyyy more off topic
BUT! anyways. considering that i started this thread, ill try to continue it also:
Update on my boat: i ride behind an 18 foot alluminum boat and have now purchased around 700lb of ballast for it, and an extended pylon!
before purchasing the fat sacs i actually took retaining wall blocks and placed them in the boat for more weight. (they weighed 50lb each!) this was alot of work, but it did the job and i soared higher and farther
...my dad is intrigued by how hard i am willing to work in order to create a better wake for myself... likewise, he is amazed at how much it increases my performance...
midsummer my dad bought me the pylon, which also helped alot!!
AND!!!! my dad and i have been going to boatshows and it looks like he is going to purchase a moomba or a supra or something!!! i am excited!!! |
