How do you lower the line tension enough to pull the last 180 all the way around? Are you supposed to spin it off the wake?

i've only landed one, but i'm trying them every time i go out and land riding away everytime, i just drop the handle right after i touch the water. You should go into it like a really good, poppy, scarecrow, then once you spot the water, give the handle another tug and put it into your back pocket and land over your toes.

You should be able to turn any good scarecrow into a crow mobe, becuase it's just a scarecrow, then at the last minute, you pull it around to a switch blind 180. If you're hitting the water immediately after rotating the scarecrow, you won't have enough time to get the backside 180.

I've been trying them for the past 3 weeks, every single time i just pop the handle, but ride away from them. It can be a very frustrating trick.

Yea but how do you get that poppy crow? The higher I go the more line tension and the harder it is to pull the BS 180.

cut out really wide and drift in really mellow, and when you get to the wake, cut back almost to your heels and stand up as tall as possible. Do that on just scarecrows a bunch of times until they are really good and come to you without thinking about it. Standing up at the top of the wake is probably the most important part though, because it will boot you straight up, and you land the way you take off the wake, so you will land straight up and down, instead of really crouched, which can throw you off balance.

I had to do scarecrows for about a half hour straight just to get them dialed in the right way before i could move on to crow mobes. After that, it's just a slight tug of the handle, and turning a quick backside 180.

i throw it exactly like a scarecrow, but spot the water sooner and pull it around. just keep the handle in both hands the whole way through until you pull around the last 180. spot the landing and with both hands, pull it to your hip. from then, let go with your lead hand and put the handle to your back to land blind. hopefully that makes sense. that's what i always do.

gene3x, how'd you know I was going to be reading this thread?

I haven't attempted one in about a month. Still haven't made any progress since that day we were out with Cody. I had 3-4 really good back to back attempts on Richards boat in June but took about a 3 week hiatus and just got back on the water on Saturday behind Dan's boat. For some reasons my tantrum timing is off on his wake so I didn't attempt one. I did land a couple baby step tricks like grabbing my 3 and bs180. I also got back to back shove-its, body varial and wake 2 wake on the wakeskate. Kickflip and 360 shove-it are not looking so good Mr. Green
