why are cassettes, omens, oaks, integritys, so hard to get?

if they are the best.. which most people have the opinions they are..
why are they so hard to get?

kind, Not sure about oaks, but cassettes, omens and integs are all made by one or maybe two people from what I understand.

It is a pretty major operation to undertake, you have design, materials, production, advertising, sales etc all being done by usually one or two people.

Not an easy task to undertake.

Once they are available jump on em.

I am very proud of the Integs I have. I make it a point to tell everyone that these are hand made in the US and that they are not a production line piece of crap.

Get in line brother. Good things come to those that wait!

I agree with muckmeister; skates from rider owned companies like integrity, omen, sattelyte are hard to get, but very much worth the wait. It's also very satisfying to know our $$$ is going to real people who really skate, instead of a big corporation.

My wife & I are proud to have some harder to find skates:
1. '05 Integ Team
2. '07 Sattelyte Heartbreaker
3. '07 Kampus K-39

These decks are the best we've ever ridden, having started with a series of HL's & LF's. (I have heard that the '07 LF's are much better than previous years, though.)

As muck also mentioned, it appears that Oaks are pretty readily available; I've seen 'em on a few different web sites. Can't go wrong with an '07 Oak!

I've seen a few WTB's for integ's on ws.com; Integrity decks in general seem to be a pretty hot commodity these days. Lots of people looking, and no new ones available from Erich for a while. We're gonna keep ours; we like it a lot, and it's just too hard to replace.

Such a great deck; we don't hit sliders, so it still looks like the day I took it out of the box. Oddly enough, most of the riders in our gang don't care for it much; too light for them. Our wood decks see the most action.

Can anyone recommend a site with real availability of higher end skates?

All the local shops have LF, HL, and maybe one skate of one size of another brand. They will all order you one, but are never sure of the lead time.

AlexXx, sorry for the slow reply; haven't checked this thread in a while.

The K39 is awesome for what it is: flat deck with foam top. Edges well, great pop on ollies. Some folks on ws.com say they break easily; they must be hitting sliders, cuz we don't & so far it's holding up just fine.

Best value out there for the price, IMO.
