i have no wake on my old boat, luckily the malibu is ready and is starting to go out this weekend.
when i land the board seems to slide out a little and the rope gets yanked out of my hands. kinda like i am not landing flat on the board.
the close up pick i landed right on the other wake. that one i landed but just sat down and couldnt ride it away.
so do i just need to take it bigger to make things easy? i was just trying to get the rotation to start with and land w2w

keep the handle closer to your front hip, in the first pick it is way out, and second pic is like by your head almost. heres a pic of one from when i was learning (no air) but look at my handle position
sorry about the pic size.

i36,
The handle is the key. Without that handle to the hips, you will never land it.

| keep it as close to your body as possible that will keep the slack out of the line/. u said it was getting ripped out of your hands so try and get more air, keep the rope in and reduce the slack
