I'm a beginner wakeboarder and have decided to go with the 2003 Liquid Force Trip 33.5 and the 2003 'O Brien Ion Bindings or the 2003 'O Brien System Bindings. Any feedback or comments would be really helpful!

its a sweet board for a begginer. Might be a little advanced but your gorw into it. I would go with the lime green Ions if you get them.

Ion's unless you need major ankle support, then go with System's.

my bro has systems and LOVES them...BUT they are really hard to get on and off at first so that could be frustrating and they are a really high ankle wrap. I demo'ed the ions and they were pretty good but i'm not a big fan of the lace-ups. I'm not very wild about obrien. BUT they both are awesome bindings..and that board looks pretty sweet too... nice shopping!

you should get bindings to match the board.

wow that was girly.

I made sure my bindings matched my board when I bought them, they even both have pictures of fish on them.

I need to go um....do something..um... non girly now.

yeah i know i really wanted to and I should but the systems are blue, so it kinda matches. They should make different colors of bindings like blue, lime green, red, light blue, pink, all different colors so the rider as more choices!

If you could wait...the 2004 (Green Ions) will be out in mid-August. They are supposed to be softer and more supportive than th '03 Ions.

The IONS Overtons has are on sale....they only have a few sizes left...I think they told me M's and XS's...

I would wait for the 2004 Ions...

Alot of girls love that trip, I've suggested it to many, and haven't really had any complaints. Also might want to look at he LF Diva/Evo. Also have to ask what colour your vest or shorts are, because if you have a red vest or shorts, It'll match fine with the ION's, haha.

drat, I wish my vest matched my board and bindings. well they do all have blue on them. I think all of my shorts match, oh wait, stupid brown shorts, curse you.
