I have heard the tower will only come in stainless steel/chrome and not powder coated anymore. Can anyone confirm that? Can't see why a company would limit choices when that has been a pretty popular feature from what I understand.

You can get them powdercoated at the dealership since 99% of the dealers ordered them blank and did it themselves anyway. Also helps to limit repainting due to scratches in shipping. Smart move in my opinion. Can't agree with everything they did for '04 though.

Those are the ugliest boats I have seen in a while. All the colors are ugly and that tower is disgusting. I used the love the looks of SAN but those make me wanna puke.

hmmm, interesting to see that you can still pick the color of the tower on their "Build your Own" boat maker app. I had heard that they where just going to offer the polished from now on, but the app still shows colored towers.
I think CC is a bit confused.
Sux that you can't pick the top color anymore too.
Seems like CC is taking steps back while everyone else is moving forward. I mean MasterCraft is coming out with all kinds of options for their boats now. They've got a hole custom accessory line.
The towers are ok on the new boats. I think the arched bar is just structurally stronger than the previously more squared tubing. Not real wild about the look though.
I am such a fan of CC but changes like that make me want to look at other companies. It seems like they are cutting corners while they still have the most expensive boat on the market. jmo.

I dont like the silver windsheild brackets, the black look better when you tint the windows. The AIR logo is also bigger, the horn cover is stainless this year, no third strip.

I personally like the 04 Nautiques, they would probably look better in a different color though. The towers aren't that bad looking.

The boat is great, other than the ugliest tower on the water today. It doesn't look that bad in the picture but in person it's terrible. Being a lifelong fan of Correct Craft I hate to say anything bad, but the truth is the truth.

I like how they went back to the Super Air instead of the just Air in 03. Good call, everyone still called them SAN, it just wasn't right with out the Super.

That is an amazingly poor choice of colors to show to put on their top of the line boat. However, I think the SAN looks great. Tower I'll give a thumbs down to but that is an awesome boat plus you know it has the quality of CC. Also since it was mentioned, Mastercraft's custom parts is lame in my opinion. "hey everybody, make your boat look cool with the same parts everyone else is using to make there boat look cool!" Lame. A CC is like a Porsche. Even if you don't customize it you know still have the best and classiest boat on the water.

I like that the tower has a different bottom to it, (not as tall in the rear on the bottom part) but that made the top part have to be that much taller when folded down. In my opinion it's not that much of an improvement... I did notie on the pics of the 206 and 216 that the tower was the old style from 03, wonder if this was a mistake or if that's the way they will be?

I hate the boardracks, they had IMO the best racks to date and now they have stuff that will probably end up breaking. They added tower speakers it looks like... That's an improvement as long as they sound good...

Interior looks basically the same... I do like the fact they hinged the cooler cover/seat. I've been wanting to do the exact same thing to my boat and just haven't gotten around to it. I still don't like that the same seat is not coordinating color wise with the rest of the interior if you get the grey seat bases... Evil or Very Mad

Hope you can still get the teak platforms for those who don't like the composite... I don't like the latches on the sundeck either... Didn't like them in 01 and don't like them in 04!

Last but not least... I will never buy one because it cannot be blacked out. They should keep the option of colors for the hull! I also don't like not being able to get a black windshield frame. Like Dees said, it will look bad with tinted windows.

Sorry guys, but I think the tower is great looking. It is alot better looking in person, IMO. Overall, the boats look good and the added "fixes" to past complaints should please alot of people.

By the way, I have the Nverts and really like them so far. There are moving pieces though that may or may not wear out or break but the boards are absolutely silent now!

I'm with you guys on the composite platform and seat bases though.

That interior is ugly as hell! I'd pay a lot more for an '03 than those '04s. I'd rather have a pylon than those towers!!!

The green and a different color might look ok, but with that grey it looks awful. They should of chosen better colors though, like blues or reds.

Scott a, to me the construction of the Nvert racks looks frail... If you look at the pic below and see the construction almost looks like a windshield whiper... At the points where it hinges to me they look as if they would either break from wear or at the least become loose and not hold a board well anymore. I have been wrong on things before and I coould be wrong this time, but to me the Flight Clips were better because there were no moving parts to break. They were easy to operate and remove boards from.

I don't think the tower is ugly...I just think it doesn't flow with the design of the windshield....it looks more like an after thought. As for the board racks, the ones they used on last years boat are awesome. I look forward to checking out the NVERTS..I'm sure they are good quality or they would not use them.

What are the other primary changes to the 04?

I agree with you Johnny G about the windshield and tower not flowing. Too me, I think that waht's makes twoers look good. Mc's with Zero Flex, Centurion's with Pro Flight, Malibu with Skylon, etc.

Figure.09, I think that tower is an improvement from the previous backwards one they have. I just don't think I'd like where the tower is mounted. It would get in the way when getting in/out from the side. It does flow good with the windshield. BTW, that new windshield is sick, it'd look amazing when tinted.. Puppy Eyes

anti-shoobies i agree that this tower is better looking than it's predecessor, and that it's not that ugly, but more of a poor placement.

I think that boat looks awesome. My dad just got a 2003, and we love it. Nautiques are awesome. every boat nautique makes looks awesome. I dont have anything bad to say about them.
