Where are you Nautique guys sticking all of this weight? I have an 89 Centurion with two 350 # fatsacks that take up most of the room. The boat is rates for 900# or something so even then its overweight like 500 # when 4 people are in the boat. Do cops check weights much or is it a Coast Guard thing? What are the Nautiques rated for?

I think mine is rated for 7 people and maybe 1200 pounds. I've got a V-Drive with two 600s on each side and then another 600-1000 under the bow. I could probably fit two more 350s on each side of the engine, but I think the bow is maxed. It gets a little cramped, especially when filling and emptying. Hopefully I'll put a ballast in soon. I've never been stopped by the coast guard.

I/O - 22 mph, no weight, 3 people - but I usually ride at 23 or 24 mph, so the wake is usually more narrow.

Tyler, it is at 21.5mph, I am getting my 04 VLX this friday Aug 15. The 03-04 model change over and the Fourth of July holiday accounted for the extra time. My boat will actually be done monday, but I am waiting on the custom trailer I ordered with this one. One more week, it sux waiting but it will be worth it.....
